I have this sql database backup in my disk from my old deleted wordpress blog. Can I actually use it in a fresh installed wordpress? I know how to restore it using SSH and then edit the new wp-config files to point it to this database.

when I logged in to the dashboard, I see all old posts are there, but I only got blank page when I open the blog. Anyone can help me?

note: the domain name is the same.
    Thank you :)

if you have cpanel it is very easy

go to phpmyadmin on old site
and export database ---- (untick complet inserts & extended inserts)

    setup new wordpress site

use notepad to change the sql file to your new domain name (replace old domain to new domain)
go to phpmyadmin on new site

delete all tables file on wordpress new site (only the tables not the database)

import the fixed sql file in it place

    Thanks,

but.. I already export the database. And just setup new wordpress site. I have edited the wp-config to use this database.. it seems to work because I see all old posts are there, but when I open it I simply got blank white page.

And I have said that the domain name doesn't change.

will this: delete all tables file on wordpress new site (only the tables not the database) work?
