This is my first day using the program so please forgive me if I seem a little uneducated on it. I was running it and everything was going smooth but all of a sudden I keep getting a message saying "error unable to retrieve data for user". I thought maybe I got banned but I logged into my account on my phone and I can follow and like pics manually. My settings are safe ( 120 scrape user limit ignore private and no profile pics, 0.00 ratio follower to following, I currently have 46k and following 86. Follow limit 20-25 daily follow limit 1500-1800, delay follow 15-20 seconds) does anybody know what seems to have happebed ? Why did it stop working all of a sudden??

I just put the computer to sleep and restarted it and everything is working again. Should I just check on it every so often & is this normal?

Daily follow limit 1500-1800? Damn, that's really high. You should start slower if you're in it for the long term, especially with an account with 46,000 to start.
"Unable to retrieve data" likely came from a drop in your internet connectivity - often happens to me and I've found that's the explanation I came to.

It happened to me also the first week since I've bought the software. Now there are absolutely no problems ( over 3 weeks without a single error ). And yeah, your settings are really aggressive ... be careful.

Hell no lol.
Following 1500-1800 is not safe, and those delays are getting you temp bans.
Spread it out to like this,
5-10 follow limit
600-800 daily follow limit
40-80 sec delay
Those are somewhat safe settings for your account since it's aged, warm it up first though.

Will do , I'm trying to grow my account fast & 45k of the 46k are fake followers. Will changing my settings to the way you mentioned yield quick results ? And my account is only 3 weeks old

First off: Bad move buying fake followers. I know you want to deliver incentive for people to follow, like; "Oh, a huge account followed me - I must followback". To a degree this works, but if it's apparent your followers are fake, then this is worse than having only 10 real followers when people view your account.
Secondly, changing your settings is the smart thing to do. But, it will not yield "Quick" results. Let's do some basic mathematics: Changing your daily follow limit down from 1500-1800 to 600-800, will statistically reduce your chances of gaining faster or more followers than your original settings. So, do as you will, but you will continue to be temp banned if you are using your original settings.
What you should do is be smart about who you are targeting, not the amount. Be in this for the long haul, not a quick and risky buck.
i think it depends on your other settings.
i follow accounts that posted within 8 days and have fewer than 1000 followers, and have a delay at 12-16 sec with daily limit at 900. and i end up following only 500 a day. even though the delay is 12 sec, FL spends a lot of time filtering users. so the actual delay instagram sees appears to be significantly longer.
