How do I know that a written article will rank, and that I have a good writer?

Good content doesn't equate good rankings, it's all about your readers + conversion rates when it comes to copywriting. Rankings are affected by keyword difficulty, website age and other shit I don't feel like writing down- content has nothing do with it, believe me.

And I call this BS.
Content its related a lot to the rankings - if your content match the search query - you will rank, you will have good conversion and low bounce rate. Sure content alone is not enough to rank for competitive keywords, but without good content your cause is doomed since beginning regardless of your "website age".

Or don't. Fiverr is the place for cheap content, not for the good one.
 
You must be kidding. You will need to test 50 people and ordering 50 articles to finally find only 1 or 2 writers who could "maybe" be able to write correctly.
Fiverr is good if you want to get a good laugh to read an article written by someone in Tier 3, or by someone drunk
I don't want to get such content on a money site. (this said, some from Tier 3 can make good content as well, Filipinos guys for example)

And personally I don't give a s**t to a "supposed" American writer, a lot don't speak English correctly. Compare with someone with the UK you really see a difference

High quality content can help you rank. With a good set of SEO standards to give to your good writer, he'll be able to come up with content that will surely rank. So, it should be a combined effort from you and from your writer :)
 
Good content won't help you rank. Good backlinks are.

Good content will earn you backlinks, that's true but you should make your content was found first. And don't forget, good content will increase conversion.

Ask samples from every writer to judge their quality first before making an order.

he asked for quality content, the keyword 'baby wipes are for pussies' would rank the same if written by a 1$/1000words or a 100$/1000words writer, if we assume that content length is the same and that the 1$ article isn't spun (this is questionable, Google seems to 'know' spun content, but they are still not 100% there)

Simple, if your articles are well informative & user friendly one it will surely rank, keep update the unique design & tasty informative articles to demand the user searches.

Fiverr works if you're willing to waste money early doors.

I have 5 exceptional writers on my books who I order through Fiverr - at least as good as the ones you find in the Market place on here, but a lot cheaper. I outsource to them when I create articles for other sites (known as 'Guest Posting', but I hate that phrase).
 
Fiverr, on the whole, is for tier 2 at best. But there are a very few gems there also.

But the time it takes to find them ... and the loss of hair and money.

It would be easier to write it yourself.
 
If it's about a subject you love, write it yourself and build backlinks.
If it's a secondary project, hire someone, proceed with ON PAGE Seo and build backlinks.

Simple :)
 
I wonder those saying that good content does not lead to ranking mean. though you also need backlinks, good onpage seo, you will also need good content. google is more intelligent these days and can understand the searcher's intent. no wonder we have rankbrain
