Help finding a decnt online (free) logo creator

Every one that I try is either absolute rubbish that provides logo's that look like they're straight from 1997, or the flash applets don't seem to work.

Can someone tell me if they're got a particularly good online logo creator they use.

Please don't mention logoease.com as it doesn't wok for me as I painfully found out after finalizing the perfect logo!! Arggh!

What sort of logo are you wanting to have created?

Actually I realised what was wrong. Logoease must've gone out of business or something because their site still has a copyright from '07 on it. As I was using the new Mozilla the applet for a free logo wouldn't work, and on other sites that I tried I couldn't get rid of the white background and have it transparent.

I used a old version of IE Explorer that I have never updated and it worked fine. Got the logo with a transparent background I was looking for.

It's fantastic when some things work out, right?
