From the info you shared, OP, I presume your audience is predominantly middle age male from all over the world. It would be nice if your accounts were at least 90% US (some CA, UK, Australia and Western Europe).
You can make a FB page and start inviting all friends to like it, so you can build up the reach.
Get a nice magazine WP theme, appropriate for an entertainment website.
Find a bunch of good websites that offer engaging content relevant to your audience demographics, where you can get ideas for content, or even rip off some of theirs (that would hurt your natural visibility on google though, and will exclude Adsense as a possible income option). Start populating your website with interesting, trending content (engaging articles with good images). You can monetize the website with CPA offers, Clickbank products. You can put your ads on the sidebars, and even include some of the offers as natural contextual links within articles.
Use your FB page and FB accounts to drive traffic to your website mixing your content with other viral videos, articles or whatever to avoid being too obvious in pushing your website. At some point you can automate your FB posts, using a tool like MassPlanner (lots of different options) so every time you post fresh content on your website, it gets distributed between your FB page and FB accounts.
