My cousin had this same issue. Honestly, he was making $200K a year before ebay pulled the plug on him because they linked him to his girlfriend's account who didn't pay a fat sum of cash. He went from living the high life to broke-ass-broke before he finally figured out how they were tracking him.

Either pay the old account or:

1.Buy a new ebay account - find here on BHW
    2.Get a new bank account - even a friend's will work fine
3.Virtual Credit Card - find here on BHW
4.New IP Address - if you have DSL it may be as simple as resetting your modem - more tips here on BHW
5.Clean all the cookies off your computer w/ CCleaner making sure to select in your Media Settings - Adobe Flash to remove the super cookies as well. Or don't clean your cookies and create a new user on your computer to access your new ebay account.

All of these things you can search for in this forum.

And never sign into those other suspended accounts again unless you change your IP address and clear all your cookies. That's how ebay tracks your butt.

If on the rare occasion they still place that brand new account on hold, email them and ask them why, from a new email address. Sometimes they will request to have you scan and email them your ID and a utility bill. If this happens, all you need to do is Photoshop that stuff or find someone to Photoshop the info they are requesting.

It will take some time, but that is the best alternative to paying them cash you might not have right now. Of course, be a good citizen and pay the bill when you do have the money. ;-)

my question is because they linked me to my old ebay account, will paypal now link me to my old limited pp account also?

i have no problem paying the seller fees i mean its not a big deal... i just don't want my old pp to get linked with the new one. i dont know how they could have linked me.. i have new everything literally and havent even signed on to my old account for months.

i just dont want to have to create everything new all over again... as long as they wont link my paypal to my old account i will just pay the fees and call it a day!

please help if this has happened to anyone!

You are aware that Ebay owns Paypal right? The accounts are already linked, that's how they found you.

The email says you need to pay off the fees on the old account to restore access to your account. Why don't you just do that?

Your Paypal won't be suspended (unless you're doing something dodgey on it). However, never use a Paypal account that you used on a suspended ebay account, on a new ebay account. It's a prime linking technique.

well anyways i guess i will be making yet again another account! im still totally baffled how they even tracked me down... i'm thinking because i bought some things on my new account and had them sent to the address on my old suspended account? but otherwise i had new everything new ip new bank new cc everything... who the heck knows

any tips from being linked again?

In this instance - it's very unlikely they will suspend you after you have paid your fees.

The suspension was only because you owed them money, and in every instance - once your balance is cleared, your account will be in good standing again.

A lot of the time the reason you will be suspended permanenetly is if you abuse the TOS in some other way. So I wouldn't worry about it - and go ahead and pay your fees!

Dont pay your fees, they will not reinstate you. Open a new Ebay account and get a merchant account. Stop using PP!

You owe them money. You pay it.

If you have no intention to pay the fees that is outright scam. And if you open a new account and get caught again, I am almost sure you will lose your ebay account as well paypal with all money in it.

Did you open an email from Egay or Paypal sent to your suspended account?
If you did they can link your IP to your new account.
Never EVER open emails sent from Egay or Paypal to a suspended account on the same IP that you use for your new account. The images have tracking codes inserted.

    Hope this helped

Good luck with getting back on Amazon, it's a near impossibility. And they are MUCH stricter than eBay.

agree with the previous suggestions. pay the fees unless your old pp account was tied to illegal activity, then dump everything and start over.

There is a great forum forum for ebay/pp suspensions/limitations. The owner is a member here as well.
