Hi fellow BHW buddies, I wanna ask something which came in my mind until present.

Let's say, I have some blogs about recipes. How can I do to avoid duplicate contents on my blogs? While the recipes needed to make a dish or drink always the same? for example, 1 teaspoon of ginger, 1 tablespoon of pepper, and so on.

Sorry for my bad english

How about the recipes then? Like I said above, 1 teaspoon or something else, would it become duplicate or not? As far as I know, the content plagiarism site will detect those words as duplicate because they have same words. Your opinion?

And it didn't come to your mind to go to google and see those ranked high authority recipes blogs/sites what they are doing, and how they doing it ??? weird !!!

And that's why I came here for ask after I see some blogs ranked with duplicate content buddy. Please give me some advise

I think there is % of how much your articles are copied. I never really needed that so i always go for 100% but i know in scientific papers is like 90-95%. So i guess google follows that as well.

So you should write a unique long description on ''how to execute the recipe''

Using a synonym of the word like 1 teaspoon / change it for 1 small spoon or the related word.

Don't change it too drastically or it won't make sense to your readers. Try reordering the list items.

Just Try to change the Position of Items
Ginger Salt Leaves
Leaves Ginger Salt
Salt Ginger Leaves ....

I agree with Rafark. Don't use synonyms all the time, especially if they're gonna sound odd.
Some minor repetition keeps your content consistent and doesn't hurt you. Consider that penalties for duplicated content are mostly penalties for plagiarism. Make sure the article is long enough so the list you're worried about is just a small part of a bigger piece of original content.

Try to Use alternative words for recipes. Create your unique content("how to")for each recipe. Try to add your recipes photos and videos.
