Hey All, The company I work for is considering offering an affiliate program. They are pretty open to the structure, and I would love to get your opinion on ways of structuring this to be appealing to as many of you as possible. First, the initial product: a Free 10 GB online storage account (does desktop sync to cloud, to various devices, and has mobile app clients too). Option 1: CPA-type deal. You get $X / signup. Option 2: Co-Registration. You get $Y / account created (uses an API call, so it can be built in any site or as an optional check-box within any other program you are running) Option 3: Either option 1 or option 2 for initial setup, then a commission % of anyone that converts to a paid plan. Question - Option 1: Our site has been converting at between 5 and 7%. At that rate, what would you need the CPA cost to be to make it worthwhile? Question - Option 2: I know how smart everyone is here...so, there would have to be some form of validation of email address or an Account Usage stat for anyone that co-registers people. Assuming it requires an email validation, what would $Y have to be to make the co-registration worthwhile? Question - Option 3: I know that I prefer recurring affiliate payouts, but what would you prefer here? A one-time fee that is 'larger', or a small monthly recurring income? Thanks all.
