I have to agree with Motaro. The article does not read well and borders on being condescending. You need to write it as if you are a female talking to another female, not a man telling a woman she is ugly if her hair doesnt look good

I'm not an expert at article writing, in fact I have only just started myself, but this article didnt grab me.
I like a challenge though so Ive re-written it in my own style. I hope Morato doesnt mind and I would like his feedback is he has time. I would like to know if Im on the right track so please feel free to critique
Cheers,

It's your hair. You spend countless dollars on product, hours grooming it and when you find a good salon that knows exactly what style suits you its like finding gold. Your hair style defines you and enhances your natural beauty more than anything else and for that reason alone it's an asset worth protecting.
But are you really looking after it as best as you can? Do you find your hair brush clogging up or are you constantly cleaning up loose strands from your vanity basin? If the answer is yes then its obvious you are suffering from hair loss and you need to remedy that problem as soon as possible.
It's not the end of the world though as there are a few simple changes you can make to ensure that you are giving your hair the best chance to look and feel natural, vibrant and of course silky smooth and shiny.
Stay Healthy.
A healthy body means healthy hair as your immune system and inner health will help to strengthen your follicles and reduce the occurrence of snapped strands and hair loss. Regular exercise, plenty of water and even a moderate fitness regime will ensure that not only your body receives benefit but your hair does as well.
Diet
What you eat and when you eat is equally as important as exercise and is just another aspect of staying healthy. Regular meals that include fruit and vegetables will provide the necessary vitamins and minerals essential for strong healthy hair. In particular your diet should consist of green, yellow, orange and white vegetables (think broccoli, corn, carrot and cauliflower for example). Be sure to eat regularly and if you want a good list of the foods essential for natural healthy hair visit the following link (insert link)
Stress
Let's face it, the world we live in today is becoming more and more stressful as the pace of life increases and like it or not, it does affect our hair. Clinical research has made a direct link to stress and hair loss so this is one area that cannot be overlooked. Stress reduction is not only important for minimising hair loss, it is important for our whole wellbeing.
Consider reducing your stress levels by trying some of the following:
- Exercising is a great stress relief and has the added benefit of increasing your health and immune system
- Socializing with friends and family is a great outlet to reducing stress and letting off some steam
- Meditation has been practiced for centuries and is proven to reduce stress and provide the mind, body and spirit with balance. Something as simple as Yoga or Tai Chi can reap great rewards on how you feel
- Consult with your doctor to discuss ways to relieve stress or find out what is causing your stress
Hair Treatment
To maintain a healthy head of hair you must look after it and give it the treatment it deserves. Regular brushing, combing and washing will help strengthen follicles and provide nourishment to your scalp. Using quality product is a must and choosing the right product for your hair type is equally important. Shampooing and Conditioning twice a week is sufficient and be sure to consult your stylist about how regularly you should be blow drying or using a straightener to maintain healthy hair.
Looking after you hair shouldn't be a chore, it should be a part of your daily beauty regime. By combining the tips above you are giving your hair the best chance possible of remaining naturally beautiful and attractive. Remember - eat well, exercise regularly, stress less and treat your hair well. Your friends will be jealous, the guys will notice and you will love your look.
