[help]Changing Wrongly Added PAN Number

Hey,

well i am from INDIA While creating my paypal account 2years back I did everything right but entered wrong PAN number,after some days they temporary limit my account,but i gave my address proof and bank statement so they resumed my service again now i am Premier member without any withdrawl limits, i use paypal regulary for receiving payments from my clients i havent faced any problem till now regarding this wrong PAN details

but 2days back one of friend told that GOI verifiyng PAN details while trasfering funds to bank accounts is that true ??? ,if yes then is there any choice of getting my account suspended ?

now i have two option to avoid this
1)paypal recently added new option change thier PAN number ,so i can chage my PAN
2)create new account with my orginal PAN details and verify

suggest me guys what should i do now guys thanks for you help

Just contact them through phone call and let them know of this issue. They'll surely help you to change it.

no1 will be able to answer that unless he has experienced it

and all indian accounts without PAN card were limited around a month ago
so I recently added a fake pan card number in my account
its still under verification will be done within a day or two
I have applied for withdrawal as well
I should get the funds within few days

so if my transaction goes through then you can also do the same thing

thanks for reply ,but if they come to know i used wrong PAN to create account they vll surly terminate my account

in my case they temporly limited 1.5years ago because of some dispute bt after verifiyng that i havent faced any issue ,on sep 15th nd 16th paypal auto trasfered some amount if they wont verify PAN then i vl get money

You can call paypal's customer care for free from skype

They work only from Mon to Friday, USA 9 to 5 timings.

I don't think you need to worry as far as its working
your payments will go through that's what I believe
because while withdrawing PAN card isn't verified
but when you add it in your account
at that time they verify it and it usually takes 1 - 2 working days
it must be manual process

if you are paying your full taxes then you can close this account and create a new one with legit pan card

Just say that in hurry you typed wrong number, and now that you realized the mistake, you want to correct it.

Its easy mate .. nothing to worry.

Paypal limited my account couple of days ago as I entered fake pan no. Dont have real one. fucking pan office, applied two times, both times that said photographs were not scannable. lol

- So, paypal is asking me to enter correct pan no and they will reopen my account.


- So, you just need to enter the correct pan no. Paypal wont suspend your account, as PAN is not their policy, its the policy RBI told them to implement during the transfer of the funds.
