Hello there,

I've been publishing on consistent basis articles each week on my site, and they all get indexed within a few minutes.
However, the last article I published i can't seem to find it in Google.
I have tried the following:
  • Manual indexation through Search Console
  • Check if it's deindexed from Yoast settings
  • Typed the URL of the article and used it with the search parameter site:myarticle.com

With all of the following, i can't figure out why it isn't showing.

Anybody got any idea why? Some help would be much appreciated.

Thank you

NOTE: I have published articles after the one mentioned, and the get indexed just fine.

Interlink with your popular post and give it some time, as you kept the site active, it will get indexed naturally.

You need to build some good quality links, need some social clicks, and wait a few days.
Good luck :D

Thank you all for your suggestions, i really appreciate your help guys :) I linked some internal links to the page in question and added the post to my Twitter and Facebook pages. I'll wait a week, if it doesn't work i will try to resubmit the sitemap as suggested earlier.

@Mr Positive I don't see how the cache can prevent the page from being indexed, i never delete it, and yet it seems that all the other pages get indexed just fine. Have i missed something? Could you please elaborate?

Get it seen on social media. If lots of people click through, Chrome spyware will let Google know they should index it quickly.

Share on social medias like YouTube, twitter and with quality relevant backlinks

Is it set to noindex by any chance? Is the content in that article unique? See if it shows up in your sitemap. As someone mentioned, check yoast or even re-enable it and see if the post is not set to noindex in the post settings. After you've checked everything and did some contextual linking between your pages, resubmit sitemap and manually tell google about the page in the search console.

I tripled checked in Yoast settings and the page is indexed. I have tried as suggested to re-enable Yoast plugin, i resubmitted the sitemap. So i guess i'll have to wait and see !

Last thing you could try that I can think of is the article uniqueness and if the text inside is using the same encoding. If you've bought the article, it's not uncommon practice for some to insert symbols that look like letters to you but actually are not latin characters.

There is no definite answer for this.

Google is having indexing issue for last few months.

Thanks. That surely explains it, because some pages that were indexing, i wanted to check on them to see their rankings, but they disappear now and then in the last months.

Are they planning to make any updates soon? If yes, when will it be?

Their could be many factors behind this issue but mainly you can check these common things.
1. Verify that your page or site is missing
2. If your site or page is new, It may take some time for google to crawl your website if your site is new
3.Check to see if any manual actions have been applied to your page, Yes I can happen to you goto GSC check about it.

Thank you for your suggestions.

1. My site isn't missing from the SERP
2. My site is over 1 year old, and my new articles usually get indexed with a few hours, sometimes minutes.
3. I checked it just now, i got "no issues detected"
