[HELP] Can't Copy Files From Windows VPS to PC

Hey everyone,

Usually I'd simply use "copy" on the VPS and then "paste" on my windows PC and all goes cool.

Been a while since I used the VPS, now when I try to copy stuff, it's copied on the VPS but "paste" is disabled when I try it on my PC.

So what can I do?

Using remote desktop and already tried options > settings > local resources > more > Drives > and I set all drives as well ash checked "keyboard".

This is beoming frustrating so I'd appreciate it if someone could give me a hand. :)

ZIP them and upload to a file sharing site, or e-mail if the size is small enough.

That happens sometimes with larger files. Since you've made your drives available as a resource on the VPS, that means you can drag and drop files to your hard drive just as you move files around on your PC regularly.

What I mean is, log onto the VPS, and click the start button, and click "computer" (where you can see the VPS' available hard drives).

You should see the VPS' hard drives, and your PC's hard drives. So simply open the location on your hard drive from the VPS computer window, and then open the location of the file on the VPS' hard drive that you want, and drag and drop the file from one window to the other.
 
Install yahoo messenger or google talk on the vps and transfer your files to yourself using that. Quick and easy.

Bacanze, thanks for the input man. However, this would be really inconvenient with multiple files. File is 100 KB anyway.

You always happen to appear from nowhere to rescue me :P Yes, I can now see my PC's drives on the VPS's "my computer". There is something I still don't understand though. Copy/paste from VPS to PC used to work perfectly. What could have actually happened?

The copy / paste not working is still a major problem as I cannot copy any text (like articles, comments..etc) quickly from my PC top the VPS.

I'm dying to know why it isn't working anymore lol.
 
Np man, read the post as "AMAG NEED TO GET STUFF ON VPS QUICK", so it's only a temporary suggestion, as to the problem I have no idea sadly, hope you get it sorted. Maybe contact the hosts?

Use Teamviewer for connecting to your VPS. It has File Transfer Option. Setup unattended access in TV on your VPS, connect to your VPS and start file transfer at max speed.
 
Try using the Options -> Resource, and tick "Clipboard" then right click on VPS copy file, paste on local computer with right click->paste
 
Try to install filezilla ftp server on vps. Then, you can transfer files very fast

This is the best possible way.
 
Perfectly worked for me with stoping the rdpclip.exe
