Hey guys,
I have a client with a major bounce rate issue.
See the below image:

The problem is across all pages basically.
I suspect that it is something with the layout and the design, but I can't quite put my finger on it.
It could be a different issue, I'm not really sure.
Can you guys give me your opinion?
His site is:https://parentology.com/

Thank you!!

How did you add analytics to your website? Plugin or manual in header? I ask this because i use a plugin for analytics and i get very high bounce rate compared to when i had it in header.

Damn that website is really slow. It still talking time as I am writing now. I think you should improve the speed of website.

The site worked with my very good.. It was fast for my. Reason maybe is Ublock, so i don't see any ads in the site.
Nice site

I have the same kind of bounce rate and was looking into it and found this on stack exchange

Your 85% bounce rate isn't worrying to me because in my experience GA's default bounce rate measurement doesn't lead to actionable metrics. Many users find what they are looking for on the first page and leave satisfied. By default Google Analytics counts those users as bouncing.

Bounce rate should really tell you how many users leave quickly and unsatisfied. If people are spending 3-4 minutes on a page they really shouldn't count as a bounce.

Luckily you can send extra data to Google Analytics in the form of events to help determine what people are doing on the page. Google won't count users as bouncing if there are additional interaction events in their session, even if the users only visit the one page.

I have a currency calculator where most users land on a page with a JavaScript powered calculator on it. They would perform their currency calculation on the landing page and leave. I implemented GA events for users performing a conversion calculation. My bounce rate fell from 85% to 25% overnight:

I can see from your images that the on page time is quite low so it may be a number of things need changing like layout or adding an index or tables. It may also be the content is not engaging like others have said here.

Is the information or article helping or is it not 100% related to the keywords bringing the traffic.

And then there is the load time that is a killer if it's slow. No-one wants to wait 7 seconds for a site to load.

What makes you think it is 7 seconds?
It loads quite fast to me.

I checked the site and its damn slow. May be the bounce rate is so high because the visitors are not able to see the site properly and then they leave instantly.
