Help - Automatically generate thumbnail from embed videos?

Hello guys,

I build a wordpress adult tube site using AdultSiteSkins.com theme. Now when i embed links from adult sites to my tube site it does'nt create thumbnails for featured post on the homepage. It only shows title no thumbs. How to create the thumbnails automatically from embed codes?

I had this same issue. I haven't found a fix for it yet either. I talked with someone who had that same theme who has some sort of script but he is not sharing it. Might try emailing the people who created the theme and see if they have some sort of fix for this.

Either you can contact the developer for a fix, or you can pay someone to get it fixed. Probably I can code something up which would automatically update the thumbnail. Well, cant really say until I give a try.

Originally I found some free template online, was using wp-tube-plugin to scrape videos from sites and everything was working perfectly.

Then I tried installing a few more themes and all of the thumbnails stopped showing.

I have read it could have something to do with the cache, but I have cleared all of that, tried changing permissions of the cache folders. Even uninstalled Wordpress completely and rebuilt everything piece by piece. Still nothing and I don't think the cache is the issue... So I'm assuming it has something to do with the original themes coding that was making it work by keeping the thumbnail images from flash videos?

I have tried dozens of plugins and still nothing... Any ideas on what to do about this would be greatly appreciated

I have the same problem. Do you know any wp adult theme that can generate thumbnails from videos automatically?

I don't know the plugin but I know that the generation of thumbnails etc. mostly needs a lib installed on the host system / vps. Imagemick for example. Without the libraries the plugins could not work. But it is only a guess.

From what I remember support was horrible and we couldn't find any coders on BHW to get it working for us. We ended up using wp-tube-plugin to build the site... That ones definitely worth looking into if you're building with WP

I found the solution - i download from hubtraffic - embed codes and thumbnails in csv file, and i created an imacro to make wp posts from that csv

Taking the help of developer would be good for you as he will have information about every coding.
