Hey guys,

I'm using the ProReview theme version 1.3 on one of my sites and I've been trying to delete the "Social Widgets powered by AB-WebLog.com." link which is showing up on the footer. I've searched quite a bit but can't seem to find anything. There isn't anything in the footer.php file either. Is there anyone who uses this theme or has experienced a similar problem?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

You should be able to remove it or hide it through the functions.php. I dont have this theme but that's generally where you would go to change footer output.

right click page > ctrl+f and find the footer link. would that work?

I've tried these already but unfortunately I can't find anything associated with the message on the footer! Thanks for the replies though

I'm assuming this is Wordpress, if so get Theme Authenticity Plugin and it should tell you where any static links are coded.

TAC shows that my other themes have a static link but for this particular ProReview theme, everything is ok. I still have "Social Widgets powered by AB-WebLog.com." written in the footer! Thanks anyway

In your dashboard- All you have to do is go to,
Appearance-Editor and click on footer on the right hand side of the screen. It should show you the links in footer from there by just deleting the link, you could able to delete. After deleting, save the file then the problem will fixed.

It might help out for your problem...Wish all success comes your way!

I will use html coffee cup editor to find content in any files. This will work in folder, sub folder and all kind files.
