Help and SEO suggestions

I have site that has an easy competition. It's an EMD site. My site is around 3 months old. The homepage has about 1,000 words and I have 2 posts that have 1,000 words.

Got this keyword from Cyberzilla.

Homepage keyword current rank is rank 15. The highest rank was rank 5.

Keyword 2: not in the top 100, highest rank achieve was top 30

Keyword 3: not in the top 100, highest rank was top 60.

I have AMR and SB. I've been running SEO the past 2 months and I'm still not getting to rank 1 maintaining about 100 links per week. I have about $50 to invest. I found someone to do a written press release for $20 so I have $30. Anyone have a good for SEO the remaining amount. Thanks

AMR and SB don't build quality links anymore. I would look for higher quality links, but trying to get good links for $30 is going to be tough.

If you're only submitting to article directories and blasting things with SB, theres your problem. You need link diversity. New content. Updated atleast 4 times a week.

While I do submit to Article Directories using AMR but I limit it to 15-20 a week. As for SB I just use for scraping for blog comments. I do use both for 2nd tiers links. I've been wanting to try pyramids but I'm just not getting any success with it. I don't blast sb directly to my money site.
