Hi Guys
I need some advice on how to help a client of mine. I'm beginning to get q few clients in the offline world. One was a word-of-mouth recommendation.
So here's the story.
My client who we shall call John Doe, has been a businessman for many years. A number of his companies went into liquidation (Chap 11)
although he does have some success in a particular niche.
He has a particularly bad relationship with one of his ex-partners who we shall call Jack Brown. Jack decided to make life very difficult for my client.
He registered JOHNDOE.COM with Godaddy and appears to have hosting with Dotster. The site is scurrilous and could be libellous although it would be difficult because most of the stuff posted is true
We need to take the site down. What would you suggest? Lawyers are expensive.
A more white/grey hat approach would be to create other websites JOHNDOE.CO.UK, .net, .info and get into some reputation management. Get the guy/outsource to write a book and get it published. Articles, Linkedin, all the usual and get his profile high on the new sites - plenty of backlinks and get his sites to rank higher than the .COM
But I'm open to blackhat approaches. I just don't know what.
Any ideas please?
Cheers
