Help Adsense CPC at 0.05, is there a way to improve it??

Hi

I have a viral website with funny pics, videos and articles.
My adsense CPC is very low 0.05, is there a way to improve it or is it something that cannot be change?
My best day was with 14 000 visitors, mostly from USA and UK but with such a low CPC l don't earn that much!

Please let me know if you have any idea about the subject

If you have issues with low CPC in AdSense and have many quality visitors there are a lot better marketing options for you to try. All you have to do is take some time to do a little research and play with different advertising networks to see which pays the most.
 
CPC depend on your quality of contents for also where the click from

This are the most paying niche

e.g. insurance, jewellery
 
Put your adsense codes near to the words which is high paying like insurance, accounts etc.

Its Simple, The advertisers on adwords are not Bidding high In Funny Pictures Niche..

Its easy to Drive traffic in such niches but Earnings are not that good.

Yes, entertainment isn't a great niche. You might try renting space, but I am not sure if you can earn more than what you get from Adsense.
 
If your traffic is mainly organic search then your CPC tends to be lower as well, as all the valuable ads are on the google main page and not on the content network.
 
Well thanks, l didn't know all those information, l chose a viral site because l thought l would have good earning because of the high traffic but l rather have less traffic and high CPC
 
Yeah entertainment niche sucks as hell. I even get 0.01 clicks some times and if I am lucky, I get a bit more. My traffic is completely organic.
 
Do you guys know how much is a normal CPC?

It Depends On Niche/Keywords and advertisers. Insurance, Health or Tech related Keywords have High CPC whereas Entertainment niche have low.

Ultimately CPC depends on how high the advertisers are bidding for the keywords - Google's Cut = Your CPC.

This is a very new website, l am just going to take the time to start all over again and find a niche with higher paying cpc
