I am having a situation where I got something on my computer. When I am online, any ads on a page are replaced by different ads. The ads seem to be from content.yieldmanager.edgesuite(dot)net. The reason I found this out because I was checking my sites and they all had different ads on them.

What do I do do get rid of this?

This will happen with certain trojans and virii. Are the ads themselves about virus/trojan infections?

If yes, download SuperAntiSpyWare and Malwarebites Anti-malware and run them both. I was bitching in a Shit List thread about having gotten infected and got this same advice and it got taken care of.

A high percentage of the ads are about removing infections.

It would appear that you're infected then. Google those two apps I posted above and run both of them and you should be all cleaned up.

I wonder how many people have this type of infection and don't even know. ??
Thanks for the tips, I'll be checking my puter too. ;)

The ones such as was described above are hard to miss.
1) They replace web banners with fake malware cleaner software,
2) They usually pop new browser windows with ads for the fake malware clearners, and
3) slow your computer to a crawl.

Now go get yourself all cleaned up:)
