Help: Ads from google don't show.

Hello.
I am trying to get my ad to show up. It is my first ad so I should just get an empty image until google have approved me, and upgraded me from being a hosted account only.

But I don't get that. I use wordpress, and a widget on the right side. There I have "Categories" and "Text" where i Put my code in and "META". So in theory I should have had the ad space between "cat" and "meta". But "cat." is above "meta" and there is no room in the middle where the ad should be.

Any clues to what I do wrong? I watched youtube videos on how to put in the ad and they get the empty ad space. And I do it just like they do it.

Open the browser developer console, does it show any error? Something like a 404 for the .js loading
Another common reason is the use of any ads blocker or hostname entries pointing ads domains to 127.0.0.1
 
I run adblocker...... Did I just fail this hard?
No I did not. used a computer without adBlock and still doesnt show.
 
Disable it and try again, or test it in incognito mode. Does it work now?
 
No, it does not work. :(
 
It can be N things, like WP stripping the HTML code. If you want PM me the site so i can lookup at the rendered code. I had problems in the past with plugins that would add security to WP as well.

It takes a few minutes sometimes before the ads are displayed when you add the code on a new domain.
 
Dude chill, everytime a new site of mine gets Adsense it takes a full day to show
 
I am waiting for aproval on my website since it is a hosted adsense acc. But that empty space dosnt show. It is no sign of the ad space where it should be :O
