Help about creating a movie plattform

Hey guys,

I was scrolling around BHW and as every noob I got overwhelmed with information. Anyway I once started a blog and I gave up easily but now my point is just to finish a project like this. Earnings are on second place.

So I of course looked into almost all guides which appear here about creating a movie plattform but I got confused.

My plan was to copy the video links from another moviestreaming platform and put them on my site. Because I dont have any coding experience I thought about wordpress.

My questions are:

Should I just pay someone to make the site for me?
Do I need a vps or just hosting + domain + wordpress?
If I have the video links how do I put them on my site?
Do I need to protect the video links if yes then how?

I know these are pretty basic questions but I hope someone can help me out.

First of all, you can start with choosing one method and that method alone to guide you in your plan. Second, you can hire somebody on other freelancing platforms to assist you and help you put into reality your ideas on the technical stuff. Third, be curious and patient. You can ask more questions on the OP of the method you are following about ideas that you want to clear up.

Well I posted this one too fast because just now I saw Greyjokers guide to create a streaming platform and it seems pretty straight forward.

The marketplace section in the forums is a great place to find out what your hosting options are.

Yes there are indeed good options. If you could tell me if I need a hosting or a VPS I would be very appy.

For advice on which level of hosting you need, I would not know for sure.
It's gonna depend on the resources required to run your site.
Ask some providers if they think you should have shared hosting, VPS or a dedicated server. Just give them an idea of what the site will consist of.
Some places will allow you to upgrade seamlessly as your site grows to need more space/resources.
