Okay so I guess the majority of my blog's traffic will come from youtube.

I plan on making my own youtube videos and advertising my blog through that. Once I get a couple of videos down (I already read that make 1k from youtube thread) I will start appling for different affiliate programs.

My questions are:
1) Is having Google adsense on my blog a no no if I'm trying to get into affiliate programs?
2) If I'm not mistaken, affiliate programs mostly offer "sign ups" for their products or w/e? I guess where I'm lost is, how do I make a website to advertise a product I don't even know will be offered by the CPA network? I feel like I have a solid idea to bring people to my site but how do I know if it will be related to what the CPA wants me to sell?
3) Like I said, I'm gonna use youtube traffic to get people to my site. Is this good enough for most CPA networks to accept me?

thanks guys, sorry for the noob stuff but I just wanna make sure I'm not wasting my time! thanks!

if there's anything else I'll ask.

Not at all. In fact it makes you look more legitimate, in my book. After all, you went through the trouble to get an adsense account, it shows you are semi-serious about making money online.

Just start off on a niche. Weight loss. Work from home. Dating. Free stuff. Those are some easy niches that you could make very generic sites with now, then fill them up with CPA offers later.

Most networks will accept it, but if I were you, I would tell your AM that you plan on sending YT traffic, and is that ok. If not, at least you asked up front and didnt pull any sneaky crap.

Best of luck getting started!!

Thanks so much for the tips Pika! I just didn't want all my time to go to waste haha.

I guess the thing that threw me off was that in that other thread about how to make 1k a day off of youtube, the topic talked about get a free ipod or w/e, bla bla bla. I figure if I made a legit site with real content that would work out much better haha
