Help a Newbie Web Builder!

I am looking to build a site based on the WP CMS and mainly host media files. Most likely videos and a download or two on another page. Anyway, I looked at the WordTube theme. Being a newb, I am having trouble installing and managing the theme, etc. Does any experienced web designer want to help me walkthrough this process? Thanks!

I have had a few self-hosted Wordpress blogs over the years and would be glad to help you out. The only thing I would need you to do is to create a database and provide me the neccessary details (host name, user name, database name, database password) so I can install for you. Installing Wordpress itself is a piece of cake and same for installing themes - you can easily find good instructions via the Wordpress site (for self hosted blogs) but I can do this for you. As far as hosting your own videos, is there a theme that facilitates this? Thats the only thing I havn't done before, but something I can learn quickly.

If you have already got someone to do this it's all good. I have a movies based "blog" and your blog might be suitable for a blogroll exchange, are you interested? .

Sorry for the late response. I have been away all weekend. Now I'm back on topic here. I have successfully installed WP and the wordtube theme (not plugin). Anyway, i am just curious as to how to enable thumbnails, because they are only showing text to link to the blog post/video.

The JW Players are licensed under Creative Commons license. It allows you to use, modify and redistribute the script for noncommercial purposes. For all other use, buy a commercial license.
You must buy a commercial license if:

• Your site has any ads (AdSense, display banners, etc.)
• You want to remove the players' attribution (eliminate the right-click link)
• You are a corporation (governmental or nonprofit use is free)

Now, I plan on using only video embeds from YouTube. I never plan uploading direct files to their player. Do I violate these terms? Because, I am going to be using adsense and other content lockers/advertsing!

in addition to that. how do I add videos? Do i just create a new post, or what?

Nobody has any knowledge of the wordtube theme? I am having a tough time here. I literally don't know how to add new videos.
