So I have an old website that was built way back in 2012 that's just has basic HTML pages. I'm trying to move all the content onto a CMS like wordpress, but i'm trying to figure out how to move the links from the old pages to the new pages without losing any link juice.
I tried sifting through google looking for an answer but it seems everyone's solution is different.
This is what i'm trying to do Example:
/contact.html
trying to redirect it to this
/contact-us
I would have to do this for multiple pages as i'm transferring the entire site onto the WP platform. Will still be on the same domain name.
Also one more question, if I redirected the previous page to another page with the same content would that come up as duplicate content? Don't want to get penalized by google. Thanks, any help is much appreciated.. ~Aspiring Noobie :/
