I've been mainly designing and building websites for clients. Created some big ones over the years, plus built a few mobile apps. One of my clients made millions from an e-learning platform I designed and coded from scratch.

I run a few online magazines that are just starting to get a little traction but I have completely neglected SEO, thinking that if I just write a few more posts it will all work out. But writing blindly without keyword research, etc, seems to have been a mindless waste of time.

I'm tired of the web design grind so think it is time to learn SEO and take the future into my own hands. You get that feeling after 17 years in digital with very little to show for it (although I did travel the world for most of that time, having a lot of fun). But with a small family now, it's time to stop relying on clients and create some income channels of my own.

I'm not looking for easy tricks or shortcuts, just smart ways to maximise the impact of what I create. Although tricks and shortcuts are welcome
