Technically not new, wow how time flies, but I never really posted much. A few years ago I was going at this stuff very aggressively, I fizzled out with school and then a new job, but now I want more and I'm back. I also ended up feeling kind of dirty from hawking clickbank products I couldn't stand behind. Worst of all I never hit the minimum number of sales and so that $70 or so is all gone now. This was all ppc and I eventually got nervous seeing my money dissapear. I was also running two blogs around this time, one of them sort of ranked, the other didn't really. Both get a few hundred views a month, but seems like mostly bots, hard to say since adblock blocks google analytics.
I hate public speaking and hearing the sound of my voice and all that, but out of the blue I decided to make a video about my new smartphone / case. Of all the methods and things I'd done this was actually my most successful endeavour (I made I think $30 over the past year through amazon). So while I want to do more faceless type marketing activities I know I have to keep making more youtube videos even if I think they're stupid and poorly made. I do have to be careful with that kind of thing though because my company all but owns me.
So that's my story. I'm posting here to keep myself accountable and motivated.
