New here. I have a hot product that's been viral several times, but to purchase all companies require a 3-5 year waiting list. I am the only one with availability, and I am the same price and equivalent/better quality than the wait listed brands. People care for the product, not the brand, and they are yet to become aware of my brand.
To get the word out / go viral is difficult even with something that's been viral before you need some luck. Unless you have a big budget to get a lot of press, its very difficult.
I was picked up by big distributors for my product, but they take a big % so they have to sell for higher price($3300-$3900) because I still need to make money. I can sell the product direct to consumer for $2800 and give a 10-15% commission for affiliate, and possibly more.
If anyone can point me in the right direction to driving traffic -- so far here is a bit of demographics:
Reddit: this product has been frontpage 3-5x/year the past several years
Instagram: we're getting a good response, but very slow I build maybe 10 followers/day with ~50-150 likes, but when someone with 150k followers posted it got 7k likes and I got 100 leads with 1-5 of those actually buying(some save up to buy since it isn't cheap, but we give a commission so he is happy whenever we let me him know we got cash for him so he is willing to post again).
Facebook: Videos have gone viral with 10-20million+ views several times a year as well.
Youtube videos for this product have several 100 million views.
I am working on a high quality video that follows along the same lines of quality as the others that went viral, but I cannot base my business on getting lucky. Techniques can be white hat / black hat, if someone is interested in making the commission -- I'm more than happy to create a code for you with a discount code only you have for maybe free shipping(standard is $100-$200 so I have no doubts they'd use it) or any other way you suggest to guarantee you get paid for any work you do.
