Just finished reading two _long_ threads and before getting some sleep I thought I'd introduce myself with some first impressions.. 
This website seems like a goldmine overfilled with golddiggers sitting at home asking a billion different questions about how the hatchet actually works, what happens when and what you should say if someone doesn't like the hatchet. Or what you do if you don't find gold after hacking for 2-3 minutes. I learned one important lesson going through the long threads I talked about earlier, and I want to share that with whoever is cool enough to say hello to the new members:
Speed read the big threads with methods here. How? Read _only_ replies with 3+ thanks or replies made by the thread author. Why? 95% of the posts you're skipping using this technique will only bring you down and make you uncertain. I'm guessing 99.9% of everyone visiting this site reads and reads, finds more and more problems and never do anything. I'm not in those 99.9%. After work tomorrow I'm purchasing a bunch of stuff I need to copy the success of 7878 and redhill. If either of you two guys stumble upon this thread: thanks!
