Hello everyone! I’ve been a newbie since 2016 and a lurker before and after that. After attending a wedding this past weekend and comparing jobs/ (my worth to the world) i realized its time for a change. Besides my salary I had nothing positive to say about my job. I make a decent living but I need to get serious about financial independence. Every week I start off on cloud 9 and by the end of the work week I say to myself, “maybe quitting and being homeless isn’t so bad”. What books, tips, or advice do you have for someone looking to get off the hamster wheel?

I like the way you write and express yourself. Consider starting a website or blog. Alternatively, sell something small on existing sites like Redbubble or Fiverr. Your website doesn’t need to be perfect. If you sell something, it can be very simple.
Regardless of how you want to proceed, I think taking the first step is all that matters. The amount of money made matters less; just seeing that you can opens the next avenue of possibilities and fuels curiosity and motivation. Taking steps like this is how you go from nothing to a full-time income in most any entrepreneurial endeavour.
