So, I'm going to introduce myself somewhat and establish what my intentions are, why I am here, how I found this place, and what I am interested in from this place. My name is `print("{}".format(lit*)` and this is the first time I've gone by this name.

While I am not an experienced in the ways of SEO manipulation or the marketplace that goes on and is depicted in these threads, I am no mark ass bitch. I'm not a sucker. I'm wary of where I put my head and my feet. And though I want it to be clear that I have no manipulative intentions in expressing myself here, I am seeing a lot of reg flags that tell me, "Hey, this is a thing that you don't know about. Do not trust this, Watch this carefully before doing anything, and be ready to disengage from anything that goes on here." I am not new on the block. I have fucked with people for a long time and learned who and what to fuck with; when, and how so.

I have thoroughly enjoyed reading some of your stories, threads, ideas, and plans. Until I found this page, I had no idea that people were concocting these plans and now it only makes sense to me when I really think about it and how the tech world has changed since I was a kid.

When I was a kid, it was popular to be what was called a "script kiddy" and to have a little webpage where you were either a lame kid with no skills or a DIY blog (I don't think we used that term -- "E/N site" was common. You made yourself presentable, made your mark, and watched yourself grow to getting traffic... But not like this kind of traffic. We were into the idea of original, good content, and would have scoffed at the Internet tactics of today and software design, to be honest, in many regards... I'm talking about the days of just before business really hit the internet at all.It was out playground for being cool and making stuff. That was it. The possibilities hadn't been entirely imagined yet.\

And that is least of all what I can say about how I felt when I came on this place.

I've always known "blackhat" to mean... a type of malicious programmer or hacker who manipulates the ignorance of others and builds or breaks down something towards the ends of either harming someone or profiting off of their exploitation -- rarely this came with the connotation of money, but more often that not, it precluded, A desire to cause destruction at the expense of others.

Unlike many of the tactics I've read about here, which I would call gray myself, most black hat things I've heard speak of are things that you'd go to jail for trying outside of Russia -- things that are either so ridiculously compulsive and ill planned out as to even engage in carrying them out or things so fucked up to do that just imagining the apathy of a person like that is beyond what I can conceive.

These methods are...

They are no more exploitative, manipulative, destructive, or otherwise than the common business tactics employed by any startup company or person working in software in the world of today.

The Internet has changed since I was a kid... and...I haven't really thought about making websites since I was young until now. And this board has really sparked some interest in me.

And there are probably some things that I think, "Yeah, I'm not going to resort to that... unless I absolutely have to."

Because... I still believe that good content is important. If that content is generated and manipulated and planned to have a chance to be heard, then so be it... But... That doesn't mean I don't have my own standards. And though I do not judge anyone (save for those who I judge as people I won't be fucking with) for their methods or approaches here. I am more than anything interested in learning from all of you.

But... just because I'm sort of new to this doesn't mean I can't spot bullshit. But I see those of you out there with real sparks in your ingenuity.

I'll be reading posts, adding my ideas, questions, and sharing some plans I'm working out.. which I'm going to save for another post.

Nice to meet all of you.
