I recently got the news that my WFH job contract ends on 13th Feb which sucks. However I'm looking forward to finding out more about IM and how to create wealth by launching and maintaining websites. I'm getting started on the newbie threads and first/obvious places to look on BHW but any help is appreciated.

Not the other way around.

think about how to turn your visitors into money first.
then try to rank for a low competition keyword.
take the money to invest in bigger projects.
