Hello, programmer from the Philippines

Hi to all the black hatters here, as well as to my fellow filipinos!

I was a Java and web programmer (PHP, javascript, etc.) until one fateful day, when a couple of my friends suddenly started making 5x my salary without working.
And this was all ONLINE.
Which is strange, considering they are both so computer inept, that they needed my help installing Windows just a month ago.

One of them makes 50+$ a day with his porn site (with virtually no content, but highly "targeted"), and the other makes 25+$ using sharecash and videos (he doesn't even have his own site, and I understand that sharecash pales to decent CPA?)

Even so, they stepped on my 60 hour work week's salary quite easily.
And all they do is play DOTA all day.
So I plan to correct this, somehow.
Hope you guys can help me.

Then maybe I can also get to play DOTA all day too.

DOTA is awesome the only game I ever played more than 3 times lol.

zherwin: I'd want to have an IM gig though, instead of freelance gigs, if I want to just play DOTA all day.

It sucks, but it seems that programming skill is not that important in the current IM trend...?
i.e. it might give an edge...? but not as much an edge as having some method to create YT accounts unfettered...

roster: mostly due to pride. I didn't want to be the one asking for advice from them in something "computer-related", when they needed my help with simply installing windows just over a month ago. Yeah, a bit thick-headed on my part, I know.

Anyway, zherwin, juniorlej (or anyone from PH), what CPA networks do you use, that someone from PH could easily apply to, and receive payouts from, with no hassles? And how do you get paid? ( e.g. any CPA accepting PH applicants, that can pay to something easy to apply to, like Liberty Reserve or something similar?)

If you're really a good programmer hack their sites and steal the traffic.

Just add my two cents, if yours friends make your salary x5 while playing DOTA, without playing DOTA you will be able to make x10 their income. The secret of $$ is Work.

For better advise, ask them how they make their $$, instead of asking on forum HowToDo, even if they needed help to install a Windows on a pc. Fact is that they are making money with computer and internet x5 without knowledge than you. Ask to them.

The forum will help you with suggestion when you found what domain you will work into.
For idea, read and search the forum, there is a plenty things to improve.

Just my two cents, I think the secret of $$ is Scalability.
When you discover something you can do 100x over, outsourced to freelancers in PH and India, (or being mass repeated by a bot/script ) only then can you go into the 4-digit-daily range, or more.
So imo, not so much as "work", as to trying and trying, until I find something that works, AND, is scaleable. Then DOTA.

Well, either that, or luck out with something that goes viral. (or black hat it, if applicable )
