Hi all. I've been lurking for a few weeks now, picking up some really valuable info. I think the hardest thing for me has been the acronyms, lol.

I'm an artist. I do portraits or pets when I have to or as gifts because I'm broke, but I prefer drawing anime styled art. I've been on DeviantArt for over 5 years now and a few months ago finally made a Twitter. I originally came here looking for ways to boost my followers there!

I've researched some MLM/affiliate stuff in the past, but nothing ever came of it because I wasn't really interested. So I've decided to look for ways to monetize my art without accepting so many commissions that I don't have time to even sleep... Still working on ideas for that

Anyway, the things I've already learned here have been eye opening to say the least! I hope to become a small part of this community c:

Thanks, I sure hope so! I do draw NSFW stuff nowadays so fingers crossed. I actually enjoy drawing the porn more :oops:

Someone close to me is making a full time living as an online artist - donations, ads, etc, nothing commission based. Traditional artist. It can be done. Took 2 years of grinding though

Oh that sounds awesome. Could you give me a few specifics of what they're doing (only if you're at liberty to)? I'm having a tough time thinking up where I'm going with all this, so hopefully someone can point me in the right direction!

I've never really given that serious thought before. I guess I can't see a reason for people to want a shirt from me of all people. Maybe a few but yeah... I'm sorry if I'm being a pessimist!

Maybe if I could get a good following, because right now I don't have a sizeable one. Hoping I can change that situation soon!

I just wanted to say I had a website in the NSFW industry and it is significantly easier than you would think. If you're drawing custom NSFW work you will have an even easier time getting the traffic you need. Hentai Games on Patreon make absolutely insane money and they aren't typically well built. But there's a very low supply. Make a website selling your art in whatever form you choose (artwork, tshirts, mugs whatever), pick a subreddit on reddit, create a custom work for it. Post the work on the subreddit, it's dead simple to get 1000+ visitors from a relatively active subreddit if the post does well. Repeat.

Wow thanks! You make it actually seem doable for me!

I currently have a fresh Patreon that I'm launching literally in the morning, my first one ever. It's just for hentai fanart and requests, etc, but I've been really nervous lately. But I've dabbled in VNs before and even have a few game engines still lying around. You've given me some great ideas!

My biggest issue is fear but I'm slowly growing more confidence. I think I can do this!
 
Tell me why you are drawing? Five points. It is not enough to draw a little more. Why are you doing it. 5 points pliz...:):rolleyes:
 
Hey miss, welcome to BHW, the best and friendliest Internet Marketing forum.

Go through each section of the forum and you will see many money making modules. What you wanna do is stick to one until you master that biz and DON'T bunny hop from one module to another. Stick to it, be consistent and you will see results.

Hi @Cinna and welcome to BHW.

My 10c worth of info:

1 - First look at free sites like fiverr, Merch For Amazon (Might take a while to get in but if you have some great designs then you can make a killing)

2 - You can take some of your designs, make a movie, upload it to youtube and get follower from there that you can link to your site or where ever.

3 - Create an Instagram account featuring your designs, make sure to watermark them to keep them safe, grow your account and when you have enough followers add a link to your site.

4 - Create a website once you have a decent amount of designs made or create a site around doing custom designs for people and sell through there.

There are loads more ideas on BHW and you might even find a method uniquely suited to your talents that works great for you.
