Hello...Is Google Keyword planner dead?

Sorry I am a noob here. Been reading up a lot on creating websites, SEO and keywords search.
I saw many videos on how people were using Google Keyword planner for keywords, but I cant seem to find it when I login to my Adwords account.

If Keyword planner is indeed gone, could someone please suggest a better alternative?

It's not dead, I just used it 2 minutes ago... login to your adwords account, click on tools (near top left) click on keyword planner in the drop down menu... you're good to go

It's not dead, used it a couple of mins ago. Keyword.io is a good alternative though

Thanks Nomad....but when i log in it takes me to the attached page. I tired logging in and log out, takes me back to the attached page. Any help is greatly appreciated!

lots of deaths now a days, last week seo also died. Very sad

Have you ever had a campaign running?

Do you have any campaigns on pause?

No..I have never had any campaigns running, this is my first time. So, I have to create a campaign and then I would be able to view the tool? As i said, i am a noob in this and thanks for your response.

If you didn't skip the guided wizard when you first opened your account you'll need to add a credit card to view Keyword Planner. If you skip the guided wizard you don't need to do this.

Thanks Nomad, Adrian and dp40oz for your help. I am able to view it now, after setting a campaign and a credit card. Thanks for being so helpful.

Google Planner will never go away. It's designed for Adwords customers, not SEO's.

That's the tool you use for all Google market research (well maybe a few third-party tools to get some data) but yeah...
