Now, I aim to enter the online work domain after having experienced various real-life work situations. However, I'm unsure about how to precisely begin. I have decided to purchase a professional website and domain to start, but I'm undecided between starting as an affiliate or as a freelancer, either designing websites for people or selling digital products. I've encountered an issue with payment methods, and now I'm feeling unfocused. I need help to start. I want to enter 2024 successfully and would appreciate your assistance. Thank you in advance.

Hey Hamza, welcome to BHW and sure there's a lot to learn and achieve but mainly you need to focus on a goal irrespective of external circumstances.

You want to buy and sell website or design them, go for it.

Search for journeys and methods here in BHW in line with whatever you want to learn and add your own tweaks.

Remember to succeed you might fail a couple of times but you learn also how not to fail again.

I would suggest to apply for a sales position that sells software, if you have IT knowledge that will help you a lot, because people who sell software usually struggle with technicalities and you could help them with that.

If you are really into building websites, then go for a corporate beginner / intern web developer position to get some money, somewhere where you can learn to work for a client. On a side, however, work on finding freelancing positions, so that you can move away from corporate environment ASAP and work for yourself as a freelancer.
