Hello Guys, have a few questions...

Hey dudes I have a few questions , I know they can sound really noobish but what can I do I really don't know the real answers for them....

The questions :

- Are real clicks on google+1 really help to promote my website ? and if they are, how many ?
- Does the number of likes on Facebook affects the ranking of the website?
- Blogging with links still working? It used to be very strong but I wanted to ask
If recently Google did not attach importance to it, or it still strong like it used to be.
- if I put fake pictures from images stocks in the picture of google+ it's dangerous ? google
can "see" that I'm not using my real face ? I noticed that It's really good to use pictures near the
descriptions and I really want to use it for my websites...but I want to do this carfully.

For your questions about social signals, I think you will find some varying opinions. There is evidence that there is some kind of correlation between facebook likes and Google plus 1's however Google has openly denied that it uses these as factors in its ranking process.

Ultimately in the first post it was posited that maybe not the social interactions themselves were increasing rankings but that content that happened to be shared a lot on Social media is also linked to a lot and in general very authoritative and good content.

I'm not sure what you mean by "blogging with links". If you mean guest posting, then yes but it depends. If you are using a service or in general just building a bunch of low quality links among sites that don't matter, then it will be a waste of your time. Conversely, if you are collaborating with other quality content creators and linking to each other, then that can have some benefit.

In your last question, I am not sure Google cares about what profile pic you have.

Sharing on social networks with good information gives referral traffic as well, you can always use social signals. No one can able to tell, exactly how much social signals are needed.

SeoMOZ's claims can be refuted, not only through first hand testing (which I've done), but also because it's a correlation fallacy. Simply because top ranking sites have lots of social signals on average does not indicate that this is a part of ranking at all. In fact, the much more likely scenario is that the site acquires those social signals *after* ranking and generating traffic.
