Hello everyone. I am new to programming. I am currently studying Javascript and I started about 6 months ago. I have a baby on the way next month and I'm teaching in South Korea. I hope that some day I can be competent enough to get my first job. I have been studying a lot of tutorials but lately I have just been trying to build my own project and trying to learn things as I need them. I felt like I was spinning my wheels and not getting anywhere but now I feel much happier with putting large amounts of time into studying. As a part of the learning process I thought I would seek out forums with other like minded people. Since I'm self studying I can use the motivation and it will be fun to be part of a community.
