Hey everyone.

I'm here because I want to learn White Hat SEO from zero and good practices overall, I thought dipping my toes in blackhatworld.com could be one of the best ways because, like Gandalf the Grey, once he saw the darkness became Gandalf the White...

nevermind, english is not my main language.

1. I want to start building niche websites to earn money once they reach x thousands of monthly visits.

2. My websites will be based on a list of ideas I'm building, ideas which I'm comfortable with building projects and I feel I will make a possitive contribution to people searching for those niches.

3. I'm uncomfortable with the idea of using AI to create massive quantities of content targeted to kids or elderly unconscious clicks.

4. Anyways if some day I find a way to become millionaire by ignoring points 2 & 3, I'm not saying I will reject the opportunity xDxD, and I respect people who choose they superblackhat way but not my cup of tea.

good strategy! keep the site clean until it had a ton of visitors and subscribers then start putting ads on it.

good. too often now i end up on a website spouting total nonsense about a subject i already know a lot about but was looking for a review or the headline got me to click. for example, there will be an article about a celebrity that happens to have the same name as another notable public figure, so the bio about them is a mix of both people. i'm like "that's not right. what the hell?" it's because they used ChatGPT and the dumb robot mixed up the people, and then whoever posted the article didn't review it before posting. it's sad that this day in age Wikipedia is more reliable than a site that ranks higher than it.

BUT.... if your goal is to make money, you shouldn't care about what's best for the user, only what generates the revenue for you. that's capitalism. capitalism is not necessarily about appeasing the customer but more about keeping your priority on making a lot of money. i know that sounds counterintuitive because a sustainable business is one that is valuable to your audience. but you said you want to have a bunch of niche websites, correct? then you will be spread thin, so your strategy should NOT involve making your visitors happy first. having a large amount of websites means they can't all be top quality, at least some (if not all) are going to suffer in quality. so if you demand an ethical white hat way of making a lot of money, then i would focus on one or two websites only, but do them REALLY well, and make your audience REALLY satisfied with visiting your website.

seems like you're kinda on the wrong forum, then. eventually, you're going to hit a wall with white hat. you're going to get frustrated that you're doing everything right and still can't reach your financial goals. the nature of black hat is the nature of capitalism. if you wanna make millions of dollars then good luck not cutting corners or breaking rules, and sometimes laws, when you need to.

and i'll tell you something about white hat businesses: nobody's hands are clean. i've known people who refuse to break the rules, yet will fudge numbers on their tax forms or loan applications or file for government benefits when they clearly don't need it, meaning they must be lying to the govt. i mean, people who would never shoplift sometimes find a wallet on the sidewalk with $500 in it and keep it. it's just the nature of life. i guarantee you will be challenged on your morals if you run a business, i don't care who you are.
