Hello everyone,

I am a IT student in the NC triangle, transplanted here for the bay area of CA. (culture shock doesn't begin to cover it) I'm a gamer, and a writer, I play MMOs and have since 2007 so you know I am a stubborn hard worker. (MMo of choice is WoW) , and I heard about the site from a reliable party so I figured 'why Not?' Honestly? I don't know what I will get out of this. It is quite the different from the classrooms I am used to. However, The paths I have tried don't seem to have worked, will this one? Only time will tell.

Welcome to BHW! You're gonna be amazed when the dots start connecting and the ideas start to click. Word of advice, try to keep to trying just one or two things at a time. This place has a bit of a 'kid in a candy store' kind of effect sometimes and it's easy to get sidetracked with the 'next big thing' Have you saw anything that interests you yet?

Along your journey you would also get to learn some new skills and will also find some alternate plans which are well worth working on. So put in some time and be patient after all good things come to people who are patient.

Thank you everyone. I plan for the moment to "lurk" around the new member area. I am an it student, yes. (in Resarch Triangle park no less) and my focus is generally web design, but my listed major is software development. I'm feeling out both but leaning more towards web design.
