I mean what in the US is known as Prepping, it's a survival preparedness movement, mostly having stocks of food, independent water supply, heat and power, sort of like The Good Life with Americans, it's gotten much bigger in the US since the financial crisis and I've been looking at what is available over here, which is not much. For example over in the US many people can their own food in glass jars using a pressure canner, which is similar to a pressure cooker and they are pretty hard to get here and also very expensive, there isn't a one stop shop for this sort of thing. You can get some things like freeze dried food in cans that will last 25 years and that is also expensive, most of the survival stuff over here is geared towards wilderness survival, Rambo knives, camping supplies etc
