Hello BHW,

A little about myself, I am a husband and father of 2 children. I maintain a steady job in the Business Analytics\Intelligence world but I have a passion for Internet Marketing. I created my first website in 1995 and started creating dynamic websites in 1997.

In 2001 found PHPNuke, which lead to Mambo, then to Joomla - mix in a few Pligg(Digg knockoff) sites and you have a brief overview of my history with different Content Management Systems. Today I focus 90% on Self Hosted WordPress sites.

My internet marketing attempts started in 2006 (I should be one of those that have made tons of money, right?) I have made some money, but have a net lose when you consider the different kits and offers I have purchased. I know that i can do this, I just need some support and ideas of direction.

This second half of 2013 is my time. I have money to market with and ability to create websites with ease.

I am open to comments and opinions. I am also happy to help other out with their projects to I can learn and meet great people. If anyone needs help with analytic analysis of results or building nice visual information material, let me know.

I am currently working through a plan to get an authority site up(maybe 2 or 3) and running. If you have any tips for, I would appreciate you sharing them.

Welcome to BHW mate. Have a look at 'Journey' section there you can find some threads about authority sites. Read those. Also IM game is changing day by day so keep updated yourself by reading threads.

Just a quick tip, authority site would take a very long time if you want it to stick. So, don't quit.

Contentweb - What other methods would you recommend? What do you feel makes and authority site a long time to stick?
