Hey guys, i am a pharmacy student from Austria (21years) and would like to get into the online monies business. First I have to say that i sticked around in a couple of german seo Communities and on wf (where i opened quite the same thread 2 weeks ago/got no reply) before.
I already have some experience, built up a real community with
>2k members by just doing seo, writing Content and Backlinking (but the forum got hacked and i had no backups), also advertised for different Poker Companies where i made some money. Right know i am advertising in the forex niche. Poker is the busieness where i come from, played pretty successfull Fixed Limit HOldem up to $2/$4 and Pot Limit Omaha up to $1/$2 for about two years. But Pokergames became tougher, as a result the Variance bigger and the legal issues more serious. Also i kind of want to do something new, build up something and not play up to 100 000 Hands a month.
The Mentor - Scholar idea I also got from the poker-scene. A lot of professional Players have their scholar. They give coachings, do
hand analysis, session reviews together. In reward the Mentor gets a percentage of the winnings from the scholar, or the scholar is tracked (ref-linked) by the mentor so the
mentor gets some %% of the generated Rake.
I think thats quite a good thing but don't know if it works in this business so let me hear your thoughts. My idea is that i am operating on the german market and give like 20
percent for the time of the mentor-scholar relation and maybe 1 year more. Or if its possible i register to the affiliate network through his Reflinks. Would be a classic Win Win situation. I save monies and time, mentor gets monies. Problem is how to make sure no one gets screwd up...
What the Mentor should do:
-> Tell me how to get started without wasting a lot of time and monies
-> Maybe tell me a good niche to start. It can also be his niche, there won't be business competition since I will be operating on the german market. (Would be good for Content exchange etc.)
-> Take a look at my work and give feedback
i am willing to spend up to 20 hrs a week und have the motivation to really get into this thing. Goal is 1k/month
what do you think, *** idear or could this work.
