Hello from an 'old newbie'

Hey guys!

I'm (silently) in and out of BlackHatWorld for almost SEVEN YEARS and now I finally decided to really take a shot at IM.

I'm a small business co-owner in Brazil, but things are not looking really nice for us right now. I'm living with something close to $400/mo and that really sucks! So, I'm back to BHW again, this time for good.

I've started some blogs in mid 2000's, but didn't follow it through. Earned some cash on AdSense, not much tho. I've been keeping up with neo SEO trends, mainly for my business's websites. But this will be the first time I really try to do something of value on the internet.

My English is not really good, so I'll probably try to do something in portuguese. What do you guys think?

Your English is fine (for posting on the forums) - but you could try doing something in your native language for your first project, while could lead to the next. You might eventually have the SEO knowledge/interest in doing this work enough so, that "Local SEO" turns out to be something you do eventually, for helping the IRL business you co-own, saving it.

To be honest, there's not much to do about my IRL bussiness right now. It depends a lot on customer presence and COVID makes it very hard to happen. In this matter, we can only sit and way, sadly.

Sad. COVID is still in the UK (apparently) and we just got some Indian variant, which is scary because of how bad it was for those in India.
We have however stopped wearing masks/caring about the closings.

Our government helped the self-employed a little bit during this time. It's obviously a little bit different in your country, but can't you tell them you're poor? REALLY lay it on and make it out to be really bad, as if you can't live, and don't have this plan of yours to get out. Maybe it could give you money.
Also, maybe encouraging your customers to wear a mask?

...But you didn't come here to be talked at by someone with no real experience in that. Hope to see you around, near the things I too am interested in, so we can interact on BHW.

As you are coming for long term you must choose something specific and if you do you will see results but choosing and getting something done is hard. IF you can do that you will have less issues in upcoming days.
