Hello BHW community,
I run a performance marketing and lead generation business based in the UK.
I've been working in digital marketing and lead generation since 2019, primarily around UK consumer acquisition. I currently operate campaigns across sectors including utilities and finance products working with a mixture of paid media and affiliate traffic.
A large part of my work involves the less glamorous side of affiliate marketing: tracking, attribution, lead validation, buyer integrations, traffic quality, conversion analysis and making sure campaigns work commercially for everyone involved.
Email is a particularly important channel for us, although I also spend a lot of time around paid acquisition, landing pages, writing copy, creative strategy, lead distribution and understanding what actually turns traffic into profitable customers.
What brought me to BHW?
I've been looking around recently for active communities where experienced affiliates, advertisers and performance marketers still genuinely share ideas and experiences.
BHW stood out as somewhere that still has members actively seeking new opportunities, discussing CPA/CPL, traffic, email, lead generation and the realities of running campaigns.
That combination is what brought me here.
What am I hoping to get out of BHW?
I'm particularly interested in email traffic, CPL/CPA, lead generation, paid acquisition, tracking and improving the relationship between traffic quality and advertiser performance.
I'm also hoping to contribute from my own experience wherever I can. I've made plenty of mistakes, tested plenty of things that didn't work, and picked up a fair amount of knowledge along the way, so hopefully I can add something useful to some of the discussions here too.
There's clearly a huge amount of knowledge buried in this forum, so I've got plenty of reading to do.
