Hi Ralph, welcome to the forum. My initial advice to you would be as follows -
1.Take some time to get to know BHW, read posts, interact with members etc. I dont know how much you know about SEO/IM but its a very big subject so lots to find out about.
2.If you are planning to start working on stuff yourself then take it slowly, first thing you want to learn about probably is keyword research, on-page SEO and all of the stuff that is not risky for your site.
3.If you are going to start building backlinks and you are new to SEO just be cautious to begin with because you don't want to put your site at risk when you are just learning about SEO.
