Hi,

I'm not new to Internet marketing, but am new to this forum. I stumbled across it by chance awhile back, and seem to find myself coming back more and more often :). From what I've seen so far, it's great!

Am looking forward to learning more, forming potential business relationships, etc.

JD

P.S. This is my first day of posting, and my third post of the day, but I just noticed it's still showing me as having zero posts (and yes, I've hit refresh). Does anyone know the reason for this??

You will find the reason if you read the forum rules:)

Welcome to BHW!

You can also check FAQ.

Posting in certain sections of the forum will not increase your overall post count. These sections include:

  • Introductions
  • The Lounge
  • The Shit List
  • Feedback
  • BST (Buy, Sell & Trade)
  • WTB (Want to Buy)
  • Downloads & Download Requests

Thanks for the replies... I have read through the "Forum Rules" and don't see anything about this. In regards to what jetti789 wrote above, what about in the "Affiliate Programs" section? Do posts in there count?

Why are you so concerned with post count?

Because I keep running into very interesting threads where the OP tells everyone to PM him/her for further info, etc. I can't currently send PMs as I don't have 15 posts yet. Some people in the same situation will tell the OP this, but they typically just get ignored. (I saw one thread starter say to one of these people, "If you can't follow these simple instructions, I don't want to work with you anyway.")

So... As long as I'm making helpful posts and not junk posts, it would be nice to see them at least being counted to see that I'm making gradual progress towards being PM worthy.

Having said that, does anyone know if the Affiliate Programs section counts? I ask because one of my posts was in there earlier, but appears it wasn't counted. I guess I just want a complete list of sections where posts don't count, if at all possible, rather than a partial one (if anybody knows this info..).

P.S. Now, I'm trying to post a reply in the Joint Ventures section, and it's says the following:

JD50000, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

  1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
  2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
I am still able to view the page fine, but only get the above message when I try to post. Any ideas about this? Sorry for all the questions..:(.

@JD50000

Simple solution to ALL your BHW issues....

it is simply to join in and contribute more with meaningfull and frank discussions, downloads, tips, opinions etc... and by focussing on contributing, rather than soley just what you might get out of it, you will see results and increase your post counts, reps etc... whatever floats your boat..

Do this, and stick to the rules, and you will not have ANY ISSUES at all.

In fact, you will be glad you did, because you will have learnt so much more by taking the correct course of action.

Simples!!!

Welcome by the way.

When you go to each section, READ THE PLEASE READ STICKY,
it lets you know the rules before posting.

Here is the rule for the joint venture section
The Joint Venture section is limited to members that have 50 posts and 30 days on the forum.
