First of all, thanks for keeping this community alive for so many years, I started in the old days of BHW with a different user (got lost in the old archives of garbage and emails) but for some reason I am back to square one.
A little bit of my background:
Started as a 21 y/o kid who wanted some money online, after tons of google searches and some guru scam make money fast crap programs (lol) I found this great place. Back in the days if you were not in US it was really hard to get a cpa account, and for some reason, those accounts where being monitored harder that others.
long story short, I made some money using Black hat tools and methods... made enough to start my own lifestyle (my famiy used to support me at that time)
and not long after that I was handling my own local business.
what happened? well I had a car accident and everything went to crap after that, I am basically broke and driving an uber (had to pay rent for some time until I was able to afford a down payment) so things are not going so great right now. No self pity, just telling it as it is, sometimes we are doing and well, and some other times... well.. shit hits the fan.
Anyway, not the point of the story I am looking to tell. The thing is, I am trying to put the effort to come back to IM but things have really changed (maybe not the core of things, but theres a lot of new platforms, traffic sources etc etc) and I am facing a dilema right now: I am looking to get started again, but in order to survive the monthly expenses I need to keep driving, and I am faced with very little time to invest on my online venture.
I guess what I am trying to say is: where would you guys start at if you had to start from scratch?
I am currently looking for an option that can maybe pay the bills (or at least half of them) and can buy me more precious time to keep researching and
putting the effort to get something started.
I am looking for gigs in several market places as a translator (I am a spanish native speaker), or as a google ads
employee but have not found anything so far, maybe that way I can switch the daily activity to something computer related, that will definitely give me more time to study the IM world nowadays and start building a project.
I understand this takes effort,have done it before, but since I have been away from all of this for years I am having a hard time putting it together.
