I'm a copywriter who was given the keys to my company's website to handle all of its SEO and marketing activities after about a year of displaying proficiency.
We're in a super niche market with very targeted traffic, and I've been able to form some very valuable partnerships within our industry. About to hit my 4 year anniversary next month.
Here's my stats via ahrefs (March 2019 google update was bae):
3 years ago: 42 visitors @ $483 per month
2 years ago: 57 visitors @ $3,645 per month
1 year ago: 984 visitors @ $4,497 per month
Currently: 7.1k visitors @ $21k per month
We've increased our requests by 100% going from 40 to 400 per month, and we have several websites targeting geographical area that I've built up the authority to rank individually (can't PBN it - all of the sites are on the same hosting account across only 3 C-class IP addresses - and its not my idea, either. At least I got us to put our main site on its own lightning-fast server & unique IP).
