Hello, can someone enlighten me about how Payment processors work?

Hello fellow BHW, i want to start my own Ecommerce website, focused on Digital products for sale.I would like to ask you a couple of questions.
First i want to recieve not only Paypal payments but for example , visa , master , all major cards.I know i should use a payment processor so as follow:
1.What i need to link my bank account to payment processor?Should I , and if "yes" How i need to verify my details to the processor company
2Do i need to be a company owner in order to recieve online payments via Cards.
3How long after someone pays me the ,money are ready to withdraw , or ready to use by me or my team.
4Recommend me a processor if u are familiar with such.

What you are looking for is a Merchant Account. It will have to be tied to a bank account, but you can always use your mane as a business name. There are a number of them with all; kinds of features and requirements. Google it and start researching.
