I am a librarian by trade, but dream of doing my own thing, and making a decent living that does not involve such a high degree of interaction with the general public.
I have a decent familiarity with WordPress, as I have previously done a blog for a book discussion group. I also really enjoyed the work associated with the blog, and would like to think that the content was halfway decent. At the time I had no idea about SEO, and wondered why I didn't get much traffic.
I also did social media for a gardening center that I worked at, and started to develop a following there. We hired an outfit to redo the website, and that's when I started learning about online marketing. Its like a fuse was lit - very cool and exciting stuff if you ask me!
In the course of subsequent research, I discovered and have been inspired by both Authority School and Income Hacker. In fact, I have devoured the bulk of their free content. I especially like Income School due to their emphasis on quality content as the foundation of traffic.
And then I stumbled onto Black Hat World, fell totally in love, and look forward to getting to know y'all!
And finally, I will probably focus my efforts on CBD, as I farmed hemp last year, and have a huge stash to sell.
